Yayasan Pecinta Taman Nasional / Friends of the National Park Foundation

FNPF is a non-profit organization working to preserve Indonesia’s wildlife and habitat for her people and for the world.

We commenced in 1997 by rehabilitating orangutans and their habitat in Tanjung Puting National Park, Borneo. Since then we have been working to establish Nusa Penida into a Bali Bird Sanctuary for threatened birds, including the critically endangered Bali Starling.

Our programs combine land restoration, wildlife release and protection, ecotourism, conservation education and community development to create lasting benefits for both wildlife and humans. We work with a wide range of partners including government, universities, NGO’s.
